As a Senior Developer, you love using your extensive experience with HTML5 and CSS3 to develop cutting-edge features on responsive websites. You may not be an expert in JavaScript(yet), but you’re always looking to learn and hone your craft—with plenty of support and mentorship from your Tech Lead along the way. When it comes time to optimize reusability and performance, you understand how to take full advantage of everything HTML5 and CSS3 have to offer—including the latest in responsive grid frameworks, templating engines, and JavaScript patterns. Simply put: efficiently working across multidisciplinary teams to find solutions in all areas of web development—that’s your thing.

Job location: Bogotá, Colombia

You will:

  • Developing web applications that follow the latest web standards and conforms with leading-edge front-end technologies 
  • Works closely with Creative, Business, Technology and QA teams to ensure the solution will meet the requirements and performance targets (mobile, desktop). 
  • Owns the development of web applications and ensures they follow the overall technical architecture and design established by the technical lead 
  • Implements user and business requirements which are composed of multiple development activities 
  • Maintains up-to-date and complete documentation on projects as dictated by the capability’s guidelines and best practices 
  • Debugs or troubleshoots complex issues in existing web applications 
  • Proactively provide feedback on policies and procedures when an opportunity for improvement exists 
  • Proactively provide guidance and support to other members of the in fulfill their tasks and improvement their performance and overall technical skills 

You have:

  • 6+ years-experience in development with hand-coding advanced HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and component development.
  • Experience developing with modern front-end tools and frameworks such, e.g, SASS, Node.js, Vuejs,
  • Demonstrated understanding of Responsive Web Design principles.
  • Proficiency in Semantic HTML Markup.
  • Accessibility knowledge (WCAG 2.0 Level AA).
  • Experience diagnosing and solving cross-browser/cross-platform issues.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and cross-office teams.
  • Experience with complex UI/ animations/ authoring/ building components.
