Senior Inclusion & Diversity Program Manager

The Inclusion and Diversity Senior Program Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Inclusion and Diversity and is responsible for building and scaling I&D programs and initiatives globally with a specific focus on supporting and enabling Fastly’s Employee Resource Groups. This person will work closely with ERG leaders and executive sponsors to champion their mission, amplify their voices, and deepen their impact. The role requires someone skilled in project and program management with a proven ability to analyze data in identifying trends, insights, and gaps to inform strategy, programming, and interventions. The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration and communication skills, attention to detail, and handle ambiguity well. They should be a strategic practitioner in areas of inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging.What You'll Do

  • Implement deliverables to achieve the I&D strategy.
  • Analyze, and interpret data related to I&D initiatives to measure progress, identify trends, and inform decision-making. 
  • Establish clear governance and goals for ERGs tied to business impact.
  • Create, drive, evolve and maintain the operating rhythms to support the ERG program's strategic goals to function seamlessly.
  • Responsible for the application, election, and training of ERG leads, tracking and delivery of key projects that contribute to the success of the program.
  • Meet regularly with ERG leads and ERG members to communicate key priorities, align on progress, and build relationships.
  • Create strategies to strengthen global participation and intersectional collaboration among our ERGs.
  • Report progress on ERG efforts and accomplishments, and drive communication strategy that will keep team members informed about I&D programs and initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in HR or I&D.
  • 4+ years implementing I&D programs supporting ERGs globally. 
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into clear guidance and communications.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical global, cross-functional groups.
  • Be an empathetic listener to concerns raised within communities, protect safe spaces, and provide key insights to the business.
  • Experience managing complex, cross functional projects. 
  • Ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity with a focus on intersectionality: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation, linguistic, professional, and other differences that make us unique.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home. Salary:The estimated salary range for this position is $119,880 to $166,500.Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
