Join our team at Personio as a Senior Lead, heading the Group FP&A team! We're on the lookout for a highly motivated individual to lead a dynamic team of FP&A business partners. Your role will be pivotal, providing clear financial guidance at the company level, fostering collaboration across departments, standardizing reporting requirements, analyzing key metrics, enhancing financial literacy, mentoring team members, and contributing to company-wide financial planning initiatives. Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Lead a team of ±5 FP&A business partners.
  • Provide clear financial status updates and guidance for the overall Group's direction.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with departments and business leaders to analyze and manage business performance.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams in FP&A and Accounting to establish standardized reporting requirements and support execution.
  • Analyze key financial metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making. Foster a deep understanding of the business's economics and trends to identify predictive signals and drive improvements.
  • Drive financial literacy and transparency amongst leaders for active financial steering.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their business partnering skills and capabilities.
  • Act as a co-pilot for company-wide financial planning, including budgeting, replanning, and rolling forecasts.
  • Support decentralized planning efforts by understanding and challenging business assumptions and models.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually improve FP&A processes.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance, with a focus on FP&A Business Partnering.
  • Demonstrated leadership experiences in an FP&A leadership role, preferably overseeing FP&A business partners and mentoring and developing team members.
  • Proficient in analytical methods and problem-solving techniques.
  • Deep understanding of crucial business metrics within the SaaS industry.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
  • Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, with a passion for inspiring and guiding teams, even during demanding periods.
  • Familiarity with Workday and Adaptive Planning is preferred.
  • Strong command of English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
  • Well-honed project management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and financial modeling.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
