Senior Manager Operational Excellence International (f/m/d/x)
As Senior Operational Excellence Manager International, you'll contribute to our international OpEx program, improve our target operating model and lead improvement projects across our 20+ international fulfilment centers. Reporting into the Associate Director Operational Excellence International, you will independently manage a variety of local and global projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency and minimizing error rates.
In close collaboration with the Global Production team and local production leadership you will help to put in place the global OpEx agenda, orchestrate corresponding improvement projects and support the implementation on site. Building on our global footprint and international best-practice sharing, you will enable our sites to boost output, launch additional product variations and put new production technologies into practice, while maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing error rates. This challenging task will include initiation, coordination and progress tracking of improvement initiatives in our fulfilment centers and the provision of support and guidance in immediate troubleshooting and restructuring tasks.

What you’ll do- KPI-based leadership of continuous improvement projects and initiatives in an international production landscape (20+ production operations)
- Initiate and lead projects, define current state and key challenges, design and prioritize improvement measures, plan and implement improvement measures
- Design and execute production innovation initiatives such as supporting efficiency improvements in our automated sites
- Benchmarking, best practice exchange and standardization of fulfilment processes across our international network
- Manage permanent improvement of methods, systems and tools that will help our operations teams to manage capacity on an ongoing basis as well as deliver higher process efficiency
- Build capabilities on site to sustain a continuous improvement approach and mindset
- Problem solving - Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve an array of other complex business problems, using analytics and business judgment
- Create a task-force approach and spirit within the operational excellence community to provide execution support to our international operations
- Due to the international nature of the position, it will involve frequent travel to our international fulfilment centers on average 2-3 days per week. Project related, there could be as well deployments to our fulfilment centers over longer periods.

You will also drive the ongoing refinement of our fulfillment center target operating model and the codification of knowledge, combining your personal development roadmap and our global knowledge sharing agenda. OpEx members are encouraged globally to contribute to the creation and distribution of expertise on topics such as lean production principles, problem-solving methods and performance management.
- An exceptional academic record with a Master’s degree from a top tier college or University (Engineering and Business degrees preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferable as a consultant or production leader with track record in operations improvement project delivery
- Solid method competency in lean methods, problem solving techniques and structuring of complex improvement projects
- Progressive supply chain and operations leadership roles
- Six sigma black belt or similar qualification is a plus
- Exceptional project and people management skills
- Superior analytical skills and operational modeling capabilities connected to strategic thinking
- Demonstrated ability to enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance and reduce costs, combined with a good sense of hands on mentality
- Interest to frequently travel abroad
- Fluent business English knowledge, other languages are considered a plus
