Tripadvisor’s Core Business organization is looking for an ambitious and exceptional candidate who is passionate about telling stories with data to lead our Partner Analytics team on their mission to provide insights & optimization recommendations to our large Enterprise partners across the Hotel, Restaurant, flights and Vacation rental categories to help grow their footprint on Tripadvisor as well as conduct x-functional projects, leveraging our vast company data to inform partner and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead a high-performing  team of experienced Partner Analytical Managers (PAMs) based in the US and London. Hire, retain and grow talent, set individual objectives that align with team and company goals.
  • Be a data storyteller: Be a thought partner to your team members, helping craft actionable and compelling insights and growth recommendations to our partners.
  • Be the face of Partner Analytics at industry events and in front of key partner leadership (including C-level executives)
  • Strategize for growth: co-own the strategic direction and Account planning for all partners supported by your team together with your Partner Success Manager counterpart. Help shape the wider Core Business strategy by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Product, Data Science and Operations
  • Make an impact: ensure your team is laser- focused on partners, projects and initiatives that can make the most impact on supporting our strategy and driving towards company goals.

Strategy & Growth:

  • Represent your team and the Core Business organization at partner meetings and industry events.
  • Work closely with your Partner Success and Enterprise Sales counterparts to map out account strategies for clients, always looking for new growth opportunities.
  • Advocate for your clients' needs to internal stakeholders to unlock win-win solutions.
  • Identify new creative ways to leverage AI to increase team productivity and the quality of team deliverables, analyses and insights

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Talent Acquisition & Growth: Attract, hire, and retain top talent, fostering their growth and aligning team performance with organizational goals.
  • Performance Management: Define and evaluate quarterly objectives (MBOs) for team members.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Provide regular coaching, mentorship, and career development support through team meetings, 1-1s, and leading mid/end-year reviews.
  • Culture & Empowerment: Act as a role model to cultivate a culture of inclusion, empowerment, accountability, collaboration, and best practice sharing within and beyond your team.
  • Upward Management: Effectively manage communications and expectations with senior leadership
Campaign optimization & Partner growth: 
  • Oversee and understanding partner campaign performance
  • Ensure deep-dive analyses, leveraging data from various sources to identify both problem areas and growth opportunities, are systematically presented to key partners in a clear and actionable manner - through written studies and emails, during weekly client meetings, and in Quarterly Business Reviews and other forums including to C-suite executives.  
  • Facilitate prep work, analysis, and internal review meetings for partner-facing meetings to ensure proper preparation. Continuously work with partner leadership to support them on executing their growth strategies and goals each quarter, while tracking & reporting on impact internally
  • Build upon existing tools and methodologies the team has created and enhance and develop new ones as needed to keep up to date with both internal and client needs and objectives.
Internal analytics & x-functional projects:

Proactively contribute to the strategy and work of the wider Core Business team, providing strategic insights, analysis & data driven recommendations and lead projects that support the organizations goal of reaching financial stability and supporting company strategy

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of work experience from partner-facing analytical roles in the (travel) technology industry. 3+ years of experience in a people management role
  • Passion for data: identifying, extracting and analyzing data. A proven track record of  telling stories with data to influence partner strategy & decision making.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Excel and other tools for data analysis and visualization
  • Experience from working with Hotel Meta Search or other click- or acquisition-based (CPC/CPA) performance marketing products is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders and motivate virtual teams
  • A strong sense of ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and with working in a fast-paced, global and highly dynamic environment where products and processes evolve rapidly
  • Results-oriented, organized, flexible and open to change and new information; adapts behavior, work methods & priorities accordingly
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree required 

This is a hybrid role and will require being in our Needham, MA headquarters 3 to 4 days a week. Relocation is not provided for this role.

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
