Role: Senior Multimedia Designer (FTC - 12 months)
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa (Onsite)
ROLE MISSION
Working in partnership with our client, the successful candidate will form a part of our client’s extended work bench delivering a vast range of different marketing material; from digital and motion, to animation and social. The role demands the fullest understanding of concepting, graphic design, motion graphics and animation. The experience in executing projects of all sizes, and completing them with resourcefulness and dedication is essential for success. The existing work-type split is around the 30% concept; 70% adaptation mark. This will fluctuate based on client requirement.
The successful candidate will be heavily entrenched in the brand of our client, and will be the right-hand of the client-side creative team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
- Work in true collaboration with client and be responsible for Brand Guardianship on their projects to ensure that the client experience is as positive as possible.
- Ensure a collaborative working across teams on ideation, creation and implementation.
- Creative responsibility to ensure solutions are realised and delivered to the highest quality of creative standards.
- Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the clients marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant, positive impact on the consumer, promoting the product or brand.
- Keeping up to date with current cultural and design trends.
- To pitch creative solutions in response to marketing strategies where applicable
- To challenge and develop the client brand guidelines to ensure the creative work is delivered to the highest standard.
- Provide leadership and direction to the wider creative team for the best creative output, where applicable.
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
- Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
- A highly developed and honed creative flair
- A highly creative thinker with the ability to take and positively influence client briefs with your own innovative ideas, where applicable.
- Confident in bringing ideas and creativity to projects whilst working within a broad range of design & copy guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral.
- Strong client liaison abilities, with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships and a consistent record of taking, interpreting and delivering design projects within agreed timeframes
- Effective at organising and prioritising workloads to manage client delivery whilst simultaneously influencing clients with their own ideas and conceptual creativity
- Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
- Highly creative with the ability to generate ideas and practically contribute to studio output.
- Experience in Technology sectors.
- 8+ years of relevant experience
