We're Celonis, the global leader in process mining technology, and we’ve delivered enormous value to the world’s largest and most esteemed companies.  To continue to help organizations uncover hidden business value opportunities, reduce carbon emissions, and radically improve customer service, we need you to join us.

The Team:You will be joining the Celonis Common Data Model team within the Product and Engineering department. Our mission is to build system-agnostic data models for business processes using state-of-the-art object-centric process mining technology in order to accelerate time to value for our customers. This team specialises in three aspects: defining the ontology of the most common business processes, providing prebuilt transformations for such ontologies for major source systems like SAP, Oracle etc, and lastly, building a robust pipeline that facilitates content development at scale.

The Role:As a Senior Oracle In-house consultant, you will own and focus on the first two aspects of the team’s goals. For the short term, providing prebuilt transformations for existing ontologies (for processes like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory Management) for Oracle EBS and (or) Oracle Fusion and validating them across our early adopters in our customer base. In the long term, defining and extending the existing ontologies with additional process context. In addition, you would be one of the main points of contact for Oracle content development - to facilitate use cases together with business app teams that are relevant to our Oracle customer base.

The work you’ll do:

  • Research and design
    • ontologies for new business processes, improve and extend capabilities of existing ones;
    • the source system configurations to map them with the defined ontologies.
  • Facilitate a cross functional interaction with product managers, domain experts, engineers and consultants during the research and design phases.
  • Build data models for these defined ontologies and researched mappings using the object centric process mining methodologies with performant SQL transformations.
  • Test and validate the models in development environments and customer environments to gather early feedback.
  • Document the data model governing principles and development.

The qualifications you need:

  • You have that rare combination—a sharp technical brain and a head for business. You’ll use this to build a system agnostic data model for various business processes.
  • 3-5+ years of experience with Oracle ERP technologies such as Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle EBS as a Technical Consultant or ERP Architect.
  • Exposure to at least one of the following domains: business intelligence, data engineering, business analytics or a similar field.
  • Expertise in SCM modules (Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management) OR Oracle Financials (Receivables, Payables) is essential.
  • Strong Solution Designing skills with solid understanding of business processes (supply chain and/or financial processes) and data beneath the ERP systems.
  • Experience with databases and data modelling, and hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Ability to work independently and drive the Oracle initiative across multiple streams within the organisation.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
