We’re on the lookout for an outstanding Product Manager to join the Elastic Security product team with a specific focus on endpoint security. This role suited to someone currently working in a hands-on cybersecurity role and interested in a move to product management. You will collaborate with teams at Elastic to build powerful threat detection and alert triage workflows for both our native endpoint security tool, in addition to data from other EDR/XDR platforms.

Your Key Tasks will Include:
  • Define the product roadmap for endpoint security and XDR workflows, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly workflows for threat investigation.
  • Developing, curating and showcasing captivating content including blogs and internal training for integrations
  • Engaging directly with customers through visits, roadmap presentations, and other interactive activities.
Skills – You Are Capable of:
  • Balancing user needs for functionality, performance, and a seamless solution experience.
  • Leading and collaborating effectively with product managers, security researchers, engineers, data scientists, developers, and senior management.
  • Merging technical expertise with a keen understanding of user outcomes.
  • Applying your technical troubleshooting prowess across diverse scenarios.
Knowledge – You Possess a Deep Understanding of:
  • Deep understanding of endpoint security solutions, threat detection and response mechanisms, and XDR workflows.
  • Legacy SIEM and newer Security Analytics platforms, and the current vendor landscape
  • IT Security operational practices, technology trends, and current cyber threat landscape
Experience – You Have a Proven Track Record of:
  • 3 years in a security operations or related role, working with EDR platforms, threat investigation and incidence response
  • 1 year in a security-related technical product management. While product management experience is nice to have, it's not a requirement for this role. More emphasis will be placed on experience working in a security operations role.
Proficiency and Education – You Bring:
  • Passion for all things in endpoint security, including the broader security analytics and XDR markets
  • Excitement for cyber security and its challenges
  • A zealous interest in cybersecurity and its evolving challenges.
  • An expert’s love for delving deep into subjects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, embodying a collaborative spirit.
  • A BS/MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
  • Cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, but not required.
Location and Travel:
  • The ideal candidate will be based in Europe, though other locations may be considered.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 20% to support Elastic’s diverse global customer base.
