About the job
Twilio is growing rapidly and is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to drive our Phone Number Platform work. You will own designing, implementing, and validating phone number inventory and lifecycle products that drive efficiencies and provide scaling to internal teams and external partners.
In this fast paced environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional business and engineering teams and be required to dive deep into business requirements while translating these requirements into user stories. You will be able to break down and innovate on legacy products while planning the vision & scaling to Twilio’s growing demand. You should be comfortable working in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision while contributing to innovative solutions that demonstrate technical competence and business acumen. As a leader, you will make daily trade-off decisions between cost, schedule, and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Define the roadmap for the phone number life cycle and inventory management platforms, starting with leading the effort to modernize the technical stack
- Collect and develop business requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to translate these requirements into user stories
- Partner with cross functional peers to drive product planning, design, execution, and delivery of product investments against defined success metrics
- Conduct regular data-driven business reviews that analyze product execution and revenue/market accomplishments.
- Develop, communicate, generate excitement for and obtain buy-in of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Dive deep into the phone number ecosystem to surface insights, conduct research, and identify new opportunities to improve the phone number platform capabilities

Required:
- 5+ years of experience in product management in SaaS, IaaS or PaaS
- 3+ years of end to end product delivery experience including backend systems
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Superior communication skills verbally and in writing are a must-have, inclusive being comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with the cloud, APIs, communications, enterprise software, devices, and mobility is a plus.
- Ability to dive deep while also keeping perspective on the big picture goals
- Devise metrics to track impact of programs on Revenue Increase, Cost Savings, Deployment Efficiency, and Scalability
- Ability to balance delivering new features vs. paying down technical debt
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Desired:
- Experience with the following: Relational Databases, Content Management Systems, Inventory Systems
- Technical Writing Skills & Diagramming system flow with software like Lucidchart
Location
This role will be remote and based in India.
