Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager, Capacity & Slotting Analytics at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to support our North American fulfillment center network by managing the western region fulfillment centers and slotting team to ensure the fulfillment centers maximize utilization and inventory is positioned to allow containers to be fulfilled quickly.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop SQL programs and reporting in Tableau/Qlik to develop KPIs to manage fulfillment center capacity network.
  • Collaborate with inventory and merchandizing teams to develop strategy for optimal capacity storage within the network.
  • Define the daily standard work for the slotting specialist team and ensure standards are being met.
  • Manage inventory positioning and direct the team to make the necessary adjustments to ensure fulfillment centers drive operational efficiency.
  • Monitor site level compliance to established slotting, consolidation, and capacity programs across Chewy’s Fulfillment Network.
  • Develop Fulfillment Center specific strategic initiatives that enables each site to meet the demands of a growing item catalogue and cubic storage requirement.
  • Lead large scale cross-functional projects to improve capacity and building utilization.
  • Manage multiple cross functional projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee and execute capital expenditure initiatives within the Fulfillment Capacity Planning division, collaborating closely with Assortment and Quality teams.
  • Take charge of cultivating and managing a team of capacity analysts, as well as overseeing a Program Manager who spearheads network-wide capacity analytics and strategy formulation.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership and the Data Science team to build analytic tools that support the capacity planning organization.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 2 day(s) per week.
  • Up to 25% travel required to various and unanticipated client locations nationwide.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field and 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain or Warehousing environment.
  • Experience must involve the following: Microsoft Excel and SQL;
  • Operations, Slotting, and Inventory Positioning;
  • Tableau Reporting;
  • Qlik Dashboarding;
  • Product placement, warehouse design and optimization, slotting and affinity analysis; and
  • Interpreting complex Supply Chain topics into clear problem definitions with data-driven recommendations for company-wide decisions.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 2 day(s) per week.
  • Up to 25% travel required to various and unanticipated client locations nationwide.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for a Senior Program Manager, Capacity & Slotting Analytics position is $110,500.00 - $176,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
