The MyMove team is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing Engineering Team. You'll play an instrumental role in developing core consumer-facing products.

The MyMove team assists customers during a significant life event, moving to a new house or apartment, by helping them forward their mail to their new address and connecting them to deals from top brands in their area. Our offerings include location-based broadband details, security systems, retail partners, and more. We are seeking a dedicated individual proficient in user interface development and backend APIs for this important role.

 

The right candidate for this role will be highly-organized and collaborative; with a passion for solving problems cross-functionally. But you won’t do it alone — you’ll have a collaborative cross-disciplinary team of designers, product managers, and other engineers to support you. 

What You'll Do
  • Senior Full Stack Engineer
  • Build rich, intuitive user interfaces using React Native that help assist users in the moving process
  • Build internal APIs using NodeJS for key functionality.
  • Contribute to key architectural decisions.
  • Build solutions that scale, are secure, and maintainable.
  • Integrate external APIs in a performant manner.
  • Guide formal and informal code and architecture reviews.
  • Collaborate with the product management team and other developers to deliver a quality product that meets business needs.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full stack web development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with React native framework
  • NoSQL DB like MongoDB
  • Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
  • Experience hosting web applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Growth Mindset: A relentless desire to learn and excel in a tech-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration, including the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Even Better
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience with backend development in Python for AI/ML functionality 
  • Experience with page speed optimization. Working knowledge of web image formats, font loading techniques, and strategies for optimizing Core Web Vitals.
  • Experience implementing Web Accessibility Standards.
  • Ability to wrangle build systems such as Webpack, Parcel, or Gulp.

Compensation

  • Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 - $150,000 *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
