Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, product, design, and business teams.
What you'll doWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Visitor Increase and Business Expansion team within our B2C oriented domain Patient Health Platform.
More specifically, you’ll join the team maximizing the number of patients benefiting from Doctolib services, through SEO optimization and marketing automations, building on the platform's current reach of more than 90 million accounts.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality application that meets the needs of patients seeking healthcare services through the Doctolib platform in France, Germany, and Italy.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients
- Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the application
- Bring your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test and monitor high-quality features
- Improving the performance of key features implemented in Java, Ruby on Rails, React and TypeScript
- Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team)
- Coach teammates to enhance their skills by offering thoughtful and constructive feedback during pair programming sessions

- You have at least 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including experience with Java
- You have experience with high-traffic web applications and feel comfortable to work in hybrid environments (legacy monolith and modern distributed systems)
- You are product-oriented and comfortable guiding your teammates to suggest tradeoffs to balance business needs with technical constraints
- You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture
- You are proactive, curious, collaborative and eager to learn
- You are eager to share your knowledge and help the team grow by pair programming and mentoring
- Are comfortable speaking English in your day by day with the team
Bonus
- Experience with React, Typescript or Ruby
- Knowledge of SEO principles and strategies that enhance search engine ranking
- Experience with CRM solutions that support marketing automation to enhance user engagement and retention
