You will be an essential part of this mission, using your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve their complex data challenges.
You will report to a Field Engineering Manager and work with a collaborative, customer-focused team that values innovation and creativity.

The impact you will have:
- Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s) in your designated territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
- You will influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications, ensuring they are excited by the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
- Be a 'champion' for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to the development of industry-specific use cases, ROI models, and solution architectures as well as Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral; leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
What we look for:
- 10+ years experience engaging in customer interactions for technical pre-sales and complex sales lifecycles.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs, navigate a competitive landscape and influence C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
- Hands-on expertise with complex Big Data architecture design and public cloud platform(s) solutions.
- Familiarity with IoT technologies, sensor data, and industrial control systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and supply chain operations; abreast of Industry 4.0 trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings in the manufacturing analytics space
- Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and high-level understanding of Spark framework architecture will be advantageous.
Notes on mandatory requirements:
- Location for the role will be in Paris (or within a commutable distance for hybrid schedule).
- Flexibility to travel (up to 20-30% as required for customer meetings, events and trainings).
- Business proficiency in both French and English required as a minimum.
