The Challenge 

OneTrust is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer (SE) to join our SE Center of Excellence (CoE) team. Your primary objective will be to scale and replicate successful strategies from our internal teams, empowering our field organization to secure more customers. Our team has a keen focus on driving efficiency and performance enhancements across various operational and financial metrics. 

You will play a crucial role in shaping a growing organization and cement further our position as the strategic backbone of our field organization. This is a highly visible role that will work directly with the Director, Global SE CoE but will work daily with the whole CoE team and other senior leadership across departments. 

Your Mission 
  • Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive enhancements in product demonstration techniques, competitive engagement strategies, and value selling approaches 
  • Identify and lead the creation of new IP (best practices, tools, customer-facing collateral, etc.) to enhance the value proposition for customers 
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Engineering, Marketing, and Product team to identify improvement potential and develop innovative, replicable solutions to address them 
  • Provide strategic expertise and insights to senior leadership based on market trends, feedback, and competitive analysis 
  • Contribute to other Sales Excellence initiatives focused on revenue enablement, process improvement, and cross-company growth initiatives

  • Empathetic to customer needs, capable of pinpointing pain points and delivering tailored solutions

  • Entrepreneurial with a hands-on mentality, taking ownership of key decisions and their execution
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving business growth
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in another language preferred
  • Willing to travel occasionally, as needed 
Your Experience Includes
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Solution Engineering, Management Consulting, or a similar role 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or business field; advanced degree preferred 
  • A proven track record of successfully executing customer engagements throughout the customer journey, including discovery, product demonstrations, and proof projects 
  • Tangible experience within the software industry is advantageous 
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interfacing with senior leadership and executives 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively
