As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing and evolving the inbound operation for the UK, owning the “Fresh” category. Reporting to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain operations, you will lead a team to deliver everyday excellence for our internal and external customers. 

In this role you’ll work closely with our suppliers and production sites to ensure quality service and availability. You will be at the centre of our operations team, managing the forecasting, ordering and inbound transport for all of our ingredients. To excel in this role you will expertly balance the operational and strategic priorities of the business, ensuring the delivery of projects to achieve our key objective results. You will spearhead change and innovation by working with our business intelligence and technology teams to transform our tooling landscape and optimise our processes.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a progressive strategy across our inbound supply chain operations to deliver absolute availability for our customers.
  • Manage your team to determine the optimal ordering and delivery schedules to ensure supply and reduce waste.
  • Build and own relationships with our suppliers to lever commercial benefit, partnering closely with Procurement and Food Safety and Quality teams to strengthen our supply portfolio.
  • Demonstrate strong performance management of suppliers enabling a good On Time and In Full score, including rolling out a new claims process to support adherence
  • Streamline inbound processes across our warehouse network, identifying cost-saving efficiencies while minimising the impact to our end to end operation.
  • Innovate and elevate the function through agile project delivery, adjusting to an ever-changing growth environment and executing change at pace to achieve defined outcomes.
  • Independently analyse internal data to generate ideas, support alternative solutions and provide clear recommendations.
  • Set and track KPIs, balancing day-to-day operations with long term strategic objectives. Define new measures and reporting methods to promote data-driven decision making.
  • Inspire and lead a team to deliver results and achieve their potential. Coach and guide team members to deliver outcomes.
  • Partner with our Inventory teams to monitor stock accuracy, process compliance, capacity and inventory value

  • Ability to lead and influence business partners, team members, and other stakeholders, present ideas effectively, and facilitate discussion with multiple inputs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management of perishables, preferably in the food industry.

Location: The HelloFresh Farm, 60 Worship Street, EC2A 2EZ, London 

Work Schedule: Hybrid working - 50/50 remote working. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
