Red Ventures' tax team is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join us. The mission of the Senior Tax Accountant is to deliver exceptional tax support to our US operating companies by ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely reporting and filing of all US-based income taxes. This role is required to be based out of our Fort Mill, SC headquarters location; relocation assistance may be provided.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for assisting in the preparation  of the Federal Consolidated Income Tax return and all state and local filings and disclosures for Red Ventures and its domestic subsidiaries ensuring accurate and timely filings
  • Prepare and review book-tax difference calculations for the annual income tax provision
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of tax process, the tax calendar as well as timing of inputs with direct report and various staff
  • Perform research on domestic tax matters as necessary and assist in tax planning projects
  • Monitor legislative developments and communicate effects
  • Provide support on IRS and state/local tax audits
  • Assist the tax team in efforts to streamline and automate tax compliance and provision processes
  • Manage and interface with both in-house finance team members and outside consultants

What We're Looking For

  • Must have a BA/BS degree in Accounting, CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate and/or public accounting firm tax department
  • Strong understanding of corporate federal, state and local taxation
  • Experience  preparing federal, state and local tax returns, extensions and estimates
  • Experience with Corptax tax provision and compliance software, MS Excel
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Ability to formulate strategies and identify trends through data analysis, and analytical/problem solving skills

Compensation

  • Cash Compensation Range: $80,000-$110,000* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
