Senior Technical Analyst

Narvar is growing! We’re looking for a Senior Technical Analyst who loves solving business problems by interpreting complex data to derive insights. This role is part of Narvar’s growing product organization. The ideal candidate has complex database experience, has a knack for developing new metrics for the business and present those on dashboards, understands fundamentals of data science and thrives in a fast-paced working environment.
Day-to-day
Provide insights, reporting, and analysis of key product operations metrics. Build and develop new metrics by deep diving into Narvar’s complex data space and develop dashboards that are usable by other teams within Narvar. Individual in this role will need to have advanced SQL skills on platforms such as BigQuery or Redshift and also understand how to develop business facing dashboards. Ability to create data forecasts, key performance indicators/metrics, and alerting mechanisms for these metrics are critical for success in this role. This role will involve working closely with Narvar’s product, engineering, customer success and data science teams. It will be critical for the individual in this role to partner with cross-functional teams to design new processes to capture and organize data to enable analytical and reporting capabilities.
What we’re looking for- 5+ years of experience in developing business metrics, extracting insights from complex data and presenting data analysis to business stakeholders
- E-commerce experience is a must for this role
- Proven experience in writing complex SQL queries
- Proficiency in developing dashboards on platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, AWS Quicksight or similar platforms
- Ability to solve ambiguous data problems and connecting dots across data points in large data lakes
- You are self motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
- Fundamental understanding of python and data science is a plus
- Education background from IIT/NIT/BITS is a plus
