Site Manager - RaceBets (12 months Maternity Cover)
An amazing opportunity to join our RaceBets team as their Site Manager.
RaceBets, a member of the Betsson Group, is looking for a role as Site Manager to join our dynamic and multinational team for maternity cover of a minimum of 1 year. Within the role, you will be responsible for managing the content team as well as creating, improving, and maintaining the content of our website. You will directly report to Head of RaceBets.
RaceBets is one of the only online bookmakers dedicated entirely to horse racing and offers betting markets in more than 40 countries. With a keen eye for detail, you will take ownership of the day to day updating of the website content, ensuring customers can have the best experience and you will possess great communication skills, working with multiple different departments to deliver this.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Proven work experience as a Content/Site manager in iGaming.
- Practical knowledge about horse racing product would be an asset.
- Hands on experience with MS Office and WordPress.
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML/CSS and web publishing.
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Familiarity with preparing content and designs for Facebook Ads.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English, German would be an advantage.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills

A FLAVOUR OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Manage & optimize content across all platforms: RaceBets site and RaceBets blog.
- Proactive check-ups of content and functionality for all sites.
- Executing on the Content Daily Task list when needed.
- Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
- Manage content team, provide trainings, technical and editorial support, and feedback when needed.
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders (IT, Support, CRM & Marketing team, external providers, and writers) to plan and develop site content.
- Optimize content according to SEO.
- Use content management systems to analyse website traffic and users engagement metrics using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
- Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board.
- Edit, proofread, and optimize writers’ posts for SEO purposes.
- Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection).
- Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention.
