Please note that we are an in-office company, which means the expectation is that you would come in to your Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.
About the role:
- Manage and develop a team of software engineers.
- Set technical direction for the software engineering team and adjacent teams and drive individual performance.
- Support engineering team in achieving a high level of technical quality, reliability, developer productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with product manager to build a category-leading product or product suite.
- Help to recruit, interview, and hire engineers for the team and engineering organization.
- Set goals, strategies, budgets, and oversee deployment of large-scale endeavors.
- Work across our stack to develop new products, features, and tools for customers' autonomy development workflows.
- Work with domain experts across field: infrastructure, robotics, and graphics engineers, and startup veterans.
- Collaborate with other members in autonomy ecosystem and learn about different approaches to solving core issues in autonomy.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Must have a Masters in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Aeronautics Engineering
- Three years of experience in a software engineer role, one year of which has been in a lead software engineer role
- Three years using Python.
