Sportsbook - Engineering manager
As an Engineering Manager at Betsson Group, your primary responsibilities will be geared towards building and leading high-performing engineering teams, meaning a lot of your focus will be on our most important asset – our people! You will work closely with your product and design counterparts on the planning and scoping of the product development roadmap, where you will be accountable for the engineering teams’ delivery. You will also be expected to take ownership and responsibility for the technical stability and performance of the applications under the tutelage of your teams.

A taster of what you will be involved with:- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams.
- Responsible for teams and central roles within the Sportsbook Area
- Ensuring synchronization between teams is always at the forefront;
- Ensure that the teams work as “one unit”, while keeping their autonomy and self-sufficiency as agile teams.
- Foster an engineering culture of ownership, collaboration, and passion for delivering quality products.
- Drive the continuous optimisation and improvement of team and development processes.
- Take ownership for resolving situations hindering the performance of the teams.
- Helping the Head of Area to create the best possible culture to ensure high-quality delivery of our products.
- Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for product development;
- Leadership and management experience, understanding on how R&D operates in an agile environment;
- Strong people management & leadership skills;
- FE Development experience.
- Proven experience of risk management & mitigation;
- Strong communication & negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior business executives on agile culture and best practices;
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct and coach;
- Ability to work in a high pace and a high velocity environment;
- Ability to manage organizational transformations.

At Betsson Group we work with a Hybrid Work From Home (WFH) model, giving you the flexibility of working 3 days in the office (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 2 days from home.
