SR. INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ANALYST (CSSO/CPSO)
SpaceX is looking for a multidisciplinary Industrial Security Officer to serve as a Senior Security Analyst within our Redmond, WA office. This is a chance to fill a critical role within a dynamic and high-tempo environment working on programs pushing the boundaries of industry and technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver and will possess the ability to convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own SCI, SAP and/or collateral security aspects within a fast-paced SCIF environment
- Support all program security aspects of our SCI, SAP and/or collateral missions, to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OPSEC plans, PPP’s, DD254’s, etc.
- Enforce DD254 provisions and own the issuance of subcontractor DD254s
- Coordinate SCI and/or SAP indoctrinations/debriefings
- Partner with Mission Management and government representatives to ensure program deliverables are met
- Maintain oversight and enforcement of secure area policies
- Own compliance related activities to include self-inspections, audits, and inquiries
- Create and update all annual refresher, indoctrination, and exit briefings as needed in accordance with policy and government customer requirements
- Possess a strong understanding of SCG development and the ability to influence customer determinations
- Oversee the review of clearance packages at a variety of access levels for accuracy and completeness and initiates follow up actions as necessary
- Maintain accountability of associated program materials
- Prepare for and successfully execute compliance inspections, including self-inspections
- Conduct security-related inquiries and incident reporting
- Keep abreast of the latest security trends and policy updates, implementing innovative solutions and processes
- Attend and support various customer meetings and working groups
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 5+ years of security experience performing NISPOM-related security responsibilities
- 7+ years of security experience performing responsibilities specifically within one (or a combination of) SCI, SAP and/or collateral environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Strong knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other related security policies and procedures
- Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, TALON, JADE and Scattered Castles
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is based in Redmond, WA and requires being onsite - remote work not considered
- Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph
- Ability to travel in support of mission requirements
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestones
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug, and alcohol testing
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Sr. Industrial Security Analyst: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office Monday to Friday.
