SR. OPERATIONS ANALYST, PRODUCTION (STARSHIP)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct analysis, create reports, automated tools, and standardized metrics for operational measurement and improvement, using SQL queries and software such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Analyze and determine insights from trends and operating metrics to inform critical department strategy and targets
  • Identify and support improvement opportunities for product yield, quality, safety, cost and team efficiency
  • Provide daily visibility, weekly status, and monthly reviews on schedule performance
  • Collaborate across disciplines including Production, Engineering, Test, Inventory, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure efficiency and consistency across the organization
  • Analyze complex problems involving multiple stakeholders, driving towards optimal solutions in an uncertain and ambiguous future landscape 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or other technical discipline, OR 7+ years of experience in an operations analyst, production coordination, scheduling or planning role in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in an operations analyst, production coordination, scheduling or planning role

 PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with people.
  • Experience in an Industrial build or manufacturing environment.
  • Project planning and management experience.
  • Understanding of manufacturing concepts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Experience building reporting tools using SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:  

Pay Range:    

Sr. Operations Analyst: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00/per year 

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
