SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

Pure Storage is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager to drive automation and process improvements within our Global Service Logistics organization, with a focus on Install Base. This role is critical for optimizing our business operations, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling smoother customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a passion for streamlining processes, and a proven ability to navigate complex, cross-functional projects. This individual will be a key contributor to the evolution of our Global Service Logistics organization, leveraging their deep understanding of its intricacies to drive impactful change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute automation and process efficiencies: Focus on automating processes related to the Global Service Logistics organization.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Represent the Global Service Logistics team in projects impacting the business, effectively communicating needs and ensuring alignment across various business groups (e.g. Operations, IT, Support).
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) for all business related process and system changes, leveraging deep institutional knowledge to guide decisions.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and participate in complex, cross-functional projects, system implementations, enhancements and defect management, as well as future initiatives and support for new programs.
  • Process Improvement: Work with the Global Service Logistics teams to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement streamlined solutions. This includes modifying and updating existing processes and creating new procedures as needed.
  • Problem Solving: Work with GSL business users to identify issues and inefficiencies. Gather requirements and lead the teams and Pure IT to develop creative solutions to address complex challenges.
  • System interface: Global Service Logistics processes require interfaces between multiple systems to gather data and push data to keep Pure Storage systems in sync. Develop audits for system information to identify issues and lead the business and IT teams to close any gaps to ensure data integrity.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data validation activities, ensuring the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 5+ yrs experience as a Technical Program Manager, ideally with a focus on process automation and improvement.
  • 3+ yrs experience with project management, including use of program management tools, such as Jira, Lucid, TestRail, SmartSheets or equivalent.
  • Experience in Global Service Logistics systems and processes preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Global Service Logistics management principles and practices.
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, & NetSuite preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a global logistics and supply or similar field.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

 

The annual base salary range is: $149,000.00 - $224,000.00   

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
