Pinterest is one of the fastest growing online advertising platforms and our continued success depends on our ability to generate and serve reliable, accurate, real-time data to advertisers and internal systems/users. We are looking for a visionary staff engineer to lead a team of talented engineers to build our next generation of ads data pipeline and metrics serving systems to support Pinterest revenue growth. You will not only have the opportunities to work on challenging technical projects and make great impacts, but you will also have a stage to further grow your technical leadership to the next level.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a team of 10-20 engineers in building large scale ads analytics pipelines and query systems.
- Work with XFN partners to deliver new ads products.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of talented engineers.
- Uplevel team’s engineering quality. Raise the bar for code review, production reliability, documentation and processes.
What we’re looking for:
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience with large-scale distributed systems and data processing pipelines.
- Experience with XFN partners to develop user-facing product solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Java.
