Join us! The GoFundMe Pro team is searching for our next Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to lead strategic, executive-level partnerships with our most impactful nonprofit clients.

The SAM is responsible for driving long-term retention, revenue growth, and value realization across a portfolio of high-impact Enterprise organizations. This role serves as the strategic and commercial partner to nonprofit leadership teams, developing multi-threaded relationships, leading annual and quarterly strategic reviews, and ensuring customers realize the full potential of the GoFundMe ecosystem.

Key success metrics include ACV retention, NRR, GDV growth, and depth of executive alignment. The ideal candidate brings deep experience partnering with senior nonprofit leaders, expertise in digital fundraising strategy, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder accounts at scale.

The Job

  • Strategic Account Management
    • Serve as the primary executive-facing for Enterprise organizations
    • Lead annual planning, quarterly executive business reviews (EBRs) and strategic alignment conversations.
    • Develop multi-threaded relationships across nonprofit departments, including Executive Leadership, Development, Marketing, and Technology teams.
    • Create and execute data-informed account plans that elevate value realization, strengthen customer partnerships, and grow GDV on platform.
  • Retention, Growth & Commercial Ownership  
    • Drive ACV retention and NRR through proactive renewal strategy, forecasting, negotiation, and commercial alignment.
    • Identify whitespace, expansion, and cross-sell opportunities.
    • Translate customer goals into fundraising, usage and product adoption strategies
  • Risk Ownership & Executive Influence
    • Anticipate strategic risks and competitive threats; develop and execute mitigation plans.
    • Serve as the escalation quarterback, coordinating internally (Care, Product, Engineering, etc)  and externally. 
    • Represent the voice of strategic customers internally and influence roadmap direction
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Collaborate with Technical Account Management (TAMs) to ensure execution of adoption, timelines, and operational initiatives.
    • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to elevate customer needs, influence roadmap direction, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate forecasting, renewal documentation, next step notes through CRM and internal communication channels

You 

  • 5+ years experience in Customer Success, Strategic Account Management, or Enterprise nonprofit consulting
  • Expertise in digital fundraising strategy and nonprofit executive communication
  • Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to lead complex renewals and strategic expansion conversations
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort with forecasting and negotiation
  • Experience managing multi-threaded Enterprise accounts
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with a bias for action and executive presence

The annual U.S. salary range for this full-time position is $133,500 - $200,500, which may include potential sales incentive payments. Your recruiter can share more about the specific OTE structure for this position during the hiring process. The company also offers equity and other benefits to employees, including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) saving program. In addition to this wage, there are geolocation differentials that will increase pay depending on the work location. Additionally pay may vary depending on other factors including skills, experience, education, or training.
