Strategic Data Consultant
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Strategic Data Consultant you become part of a team that supports international companies in their analytical transformation process. In our projects we take the full journey from bringing all data sources together and setting up insightful analyses to using these insights for precise marketing actions. We execute standard and custom projects, train and enable clients and develop new services and standards. We are responsible for making optimal use of our technical solutions, increasing the client adoption and finding new ways to increase our clients revenue.
- Concept, manage and execute consulting projects – as part of a project team or autonomously – for different client sizes and different industries such as retail, finance and B2B.
- Concept, create and interpret meaningful reportings and dashboards in our solution.
- Consult clients on a good data collection and meaningful KPI definition. Improve existing setups and analytical approaches.
- Execute data consulting projects, understand client business, analyze client data and give clear recommendations for marketing and targeting actions. Be proactive.
- Execute actions to improve marketing and funnel performance, usability and customer retention with our customers or partner agencies.
- Conduct workshops with our customers and teach them how to optimally use the Mapp platform as well as general analytical skills, workflows and best practices.
- Support us in identifying new technologies and potentials, defining new consulting services and solutions and creating new guidelines for other teams within Mapp.
- Work together with Account Management and Customer Success Management to actively develop clients over a long period of time and drive long-term satisfaction & growth.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Degree in either economics, computer science, engineering, communications, marketing, advertising or proven long term experience as well as a proven track record of driving client success and aligning within complex client environments.
- Excellent analytical skills and proven experience with Analytics software and reporting.
- Experience in conducting workshops and trainings preferred.
- Good understanding of online marketing channels and strategies and of common marketing vendors.
- Knowledge of common web technologies and coding skills in JavaScript. Knowledge in Python and SQL and database skills preferred.
- Creative thinking and ability to understand client requirements, develop and guide their thinking to identify measures of success.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex facts in a written and verbally comprehensible manner.
- Strong service mentality and an independent and solution-oriented way of working.
