Street Patrol, Glasgow
Your mission at Voi Street Patrol team members ensure scooters and e-bikes are safe, compliant, and parked appropriately. This role is crucial for maintaining city cleanliness, pedestrian access, and user satisfaction.Key responsibilities:
- Street patrolling in the city by
- Move incorrectly parked e-scooters
- Re-erect and correctly move e-scooters that have fallen over
- Identify defective e-scooters and have them collected
- Clear blocked driveways, footpaths, cycle paths, exits, pedestrian crossings and traffic light junctions
- Remove e-scooters from green areas, parks and meadows
- Carry out quality checks on site
- Assessing current and potential parking spaces
- Supporting the infield team in inspecting and maintaining the vehicles if needed, supporting the warehouse team in general warehouse tasks like e.g. cleaning, moving, logistics, etc.
- Adhering to the defined Health & Safety procedures set out by Voi in all the tasks you perform as part of your work
- Ensuring to take care of the equipment provided to do the work and adhere to all local laws and regulations
What you'll need to embark
- Driving Requirements: A provisional UK driving licence is required as a minimum.Ideally, candidates will hold a full UK driving licence with no major endorsements and no more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.
- In-depth knowledge of your city, and you’re used to driving in your city
- Responsible team player who can manage tasks alone and also work well in a group
- Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets and OKR’s
- Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
- Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic…)
- You have a physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads
- PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role.

- Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (2-week shift pattern)
- Working hours: flexibility to work shifts, including possible shifts during nights and weekends
