The diverse and international sustainability team is at the forefront, creating innovative solutions for our customers and our company.

Our use cases range from supplier sustainability management and decarbonization of supply chain processes to using process mining to optimize sustainability.

Led by the Global Head of Sustainability but working horizontally with various departments, the sustainability team offers the freedom to grow and shape solutions to the biggest challenges of our time - in a fun and dynamic environment.

  • The Role:As a Technical Program Summer Intern, you report to the Products for Sustainability Manager and are responsible for the adoption of our sustainability products and will lead the activities in this area. As an expert and trusted advisor, you conduct market research, gather and analyze data on target markets, our customers, and competitors. You develop a thorough understanding of our users’ needs, behaviors, and painpoints and act as a liaison between stakeholders and product managers, ensuring the product meets business needs. In doing so, you actively influence the product roadmap with your insights. You organize and engage our customer community and ensure that our co-innovation projects stay on schedule and meet the predefined objectives. As part of the sustainability team you work on strategic projects, especially with regard to sustainability value creation.

     

    The work you’ll do:

    • You manage and oversee the co-innovation product program with our customers and ensure that the innovation projects stay on schedule and meet predefined objectives while coordinating between all involved stakeholders.
    • You steer and engage the sustainability customer community and facilitate the sustainability customer council to involve the user community in the product development and encourage experience and knowledge exchange.
    • You act as a liaison between stakeholders and product managers, gathering requirements, and ensuring the product meets business needs.
    • You gather and analyze data on target markets, customers, and competitors to support decision-making and product development.
    • You collect information about the product’s target users to understand their needs, behaviors, and pain points.
    • You gather product insights and feedback after the product is implemented.
    • You inform the strategy, roadmap, feature definition, and overall vision for the products.

    The qualifications you need:

    • In a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration / Economics / Information Systems or the like. A degree in the field of or focus on environmental sciences/technologies or sustainable business management is a plus. 
    • Basic understanding of business sustainability challenges (climate change, CO2 measurement, SDG, regulatory frameworks) and available solutions with the aspiration to become a domain expert one day.
    • Passionate about helping customers solve business and sustainability challenges. You are intellectually curious, have a willingness to learn, and continuously seeking self-improvement.
    • Ability to conduct market and user research through interviews and summarize your conclusion in a concise yet exhaustive manner. Strategy consulting experience is a plus.
    • Fluency in both spoken and written English (other languages are a bonus!).
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
    • Critical thinking and analytical mindset with a preference to solve problems pragmatically and with high quality.
    • first technical background and passion for technology (SaaS experience is a bonus).
    • Ability to collaborate, partner, and work effectively and smoothly in a hyper-growth company in an international team, including collaborating with team members in a remote setting
