SUPERVISOR, PRODUCTION (COPV) - 2ND SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise manufacturing and production of COPV bottles and Aft Structure builds
  • Direct hardware delivery projects for the development of structural components
  • Effectively manage an overall staff of 15+ technicians
  • Manage schedule and work load according to customer and business needs
  • Communicate deliverables with customer groups and upper management
  • Oversee employee performance reviews, training, and personnel qualifications
  • Review machine maintenance and efficiency changes to production processes
  • Manage area chores and metrics, and present status via monthly business reviews

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team or project

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 5+ years in operational leadership
  • Strong experience managing feeder shops, structural, and mechanical assemblies
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing within aerospace
  • 3+ years of experience in structures, fabrication, and machine maintenance
  • Experience with management and oversight of complex projects
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Possess physical dexterity in order to correctly set up tooling and hardware
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of collaboration tools

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work 2nd shift hours, extended hours, and/or weekends as needed
    • 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 12:30am
  • Must be willing to travel for short/extended trips as needed
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:        Pay range:    Supervisor: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00/per year           Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
