We're looking for a Supplier Operations Engagement Manager, driving engagement across our partners in Customer Operations. Customer Operations is now a >3000 strong team, operating 24/7 across 4 sites, with a largely distributed workforce 💪
As a result, the Supplier Operations Engagement Manager has the crucial responsibility of helping to lead engagement initiatives with our Supplier Operations teams and COps, whilst helping to bring all teams together across the operation, no matter where the location or site.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about driving engagement within a customer operations setting. You’ll be comfortable using a range of communications tools and you’ll apply a creative flair. You’ll have proven experience driving engagement and delivering powerful messages through them across multiple locations and cultures.
We're looking for someone who understands all the communication challenges that occur when working in a multi-site operation and has creative ways to bring these groups together in a collaborative way to drive a ‘One Team’ culture.
You’ll be proactive, adaptable and highly organised with a strong attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable working independently and taking initiatives, often with levels of ambiguity attached to them and able to spot opportunities before they arise.
The Supplier Operations Engagement Lead will sit within our Outsourcing Operations team and will report into the Director of Supplier Operations and Workforce Management.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building strong relationships with leadership across all our operational domains and our suppliers
- Understanding the Customer Operations strategy, and shaping the best approach for COps specific engagement activities at our Suppliers
- You will help identify how we engage our UK Operations into all the work that is happening across our supplier operations footprint and drive this forward and vice-versa
- Support and Lead our supplier all hands session and play a contributing role in helping our suppliers drive impactful engagement initiatives in the ‘Monzo way’
- Work closely with the supplier management team to help understand where there are current opportunities for the operation that can be supported or solved for by improved engagement initiatives and drive these forward across the operation
- Using our compelling internal content and messaging on a regular basis to help Operations come together across all sites in a fun and engaging way
- Measuring and reporting on the impact of engagement activities and events and making recommendations for change as appropriate
In a typical day you could be:
- The point person for all engagement initiatives within the outsourcing team, partnering closely with the team but also the wider Operations Domain leadership teams to help engage and share contextual content for updates you are driving
- Digging in to the areas of opportunities and challenges being seen across the operation and come up with ways to support this through engagement initiatives
- Stay close to the up and coming product and process changes happening in the operation and help deliver initiatives that will engage COps early in these changes and generate excitement for them starting
- Helping our operational areas create engagement plans that support their goals and needs, especially where this involves our suppliers
- Partner closely with the leadership teams at our suppliers to understand the challenges they have and partner with them to help solve these through the different engagement forums that are held
You should apply if:
- You have previously held a Engagement and/or Communications role within a contact centre setting
- You have driven Engagement activities within a contact centre environment (experience of engaging with remote teams and working across sites would be especially beneficial)
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to positively engage and energise an audience
- Are creative in the ways to deliver new and exciting messages outside of a normal written communication route
- You can take a high level problem statement and use this to generate ideas and content to help solve them
- You are comfortable and confident facilitating group updates - either in-person or via a group video-call set-up
