THE TEAM

You will join our Project Execution Team, responsible for conceptualizing and implementing our autonomous mobile robots solutions at the customers site. You will be a part of a cross-functional, agile, international, and distributed workforce, creating the best possible experience for our clients.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The System Engineer IT helps the Project Manager to implement Automated Guided Vehicles in customer projects by clarifying the IT requirements and access with the customer and by setting up the delivered arculus & Jungheinrich software components in the customer's IT infrastructure.Your tasks will include:

• Own the customer's journey towards a working IT architecture in customer projects in alignment with the arculus IT specification to deploy all relevant services to deliver the arculus solution

• Own the initial setup, testing and troubleshooting of the arculus SW stack on customer IT infrastructure

• Documentation of IT- specifications and procedures

• Manage remote access to customer infrastructure to maintain or deploy arculus software updates throughout the project lifecycle

• Support the customer in how to set up the customer systems to successfully deploy the arculus tech stack

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of practical experience in commissioning of software and hardware in different (industrial) infrastructure setup

• Fluency in English. German language skills are nice to have 

• Strong communication skills towards customer and non technical personnel

• Good understanding of Linux-based server environments

• Knowledgeable in the LAMP Stack

• Strong skills with containerization and automation tools like Docker and Ansible.

• Deep understanding of Networking (routing, firewalls, VPN, ssh tunneling)

• Familiar with connection strings to databases (Oracle Database or PostgreSQL)
