As System Operations Network Engineer (all genders) you will be part of the team that oversees the system engineering of Rivada Space Networks’ constellation. Your mission is to strengthen our team as a System Operations Network Engineer (all genders) for network operations. You will ensure that the system is optimized for future operability and takes account of the constraints of operating a global communication system. You will support the system operations preparation team in the domain of networks. This includes: 

• Contributing to the system development in matters relating to system operations especially network operations 

• Refining/formulating requirements for the system and various subsystems related to systems operations to ensure consistency and completeness of scope the requirements 

• Consolidating and maintaining various system operations preparation documents focusing especially on network aspects 

• Through interaction with Rivada teams and depending on previous experience, preparing network flow diagrams for various network operational scenarios 

• Deriving additional scenarios to ensure completeness of scope of various network operations preparation documents and procedures 

• Supporting the team designing the core network to ensure that the network is optimized also for operations among other similarly important constraints

• A degree in electrical/telecommunications engineering, physics, or similar technical fields

• 3+ years of experience operating a terrestrial or satellite communication network is a must have. Preferably for a system operating within some global context

• Familiarity with Operations Preparations (before service provision) is a plus

• Familiarity with Operations Documentation (like Flight or Network Ops Concept, Procedures) is a plus

• Strong conceptual skills and ability to communicate in well-written technical documents  

• Excellent written and spoken English skills
