Step into Sales Leadership and Build a High-Performing Team at Databricks

Are you an experienced Senior Account Executive or Team Lead looking to take the next step in your career? This is a rare opportunity to move into a people leadership role at Databricks — leading a talented team of Emerging Enterprise and Digital Native Account Executives while driving growth and innovation across the UK & Ireland market.

You’ll be responsible for guiding your team to achieve their sales goals, acquire new strategic customers, and expand Databricks’ footprint within one of our fastest-growing segments. Working closely with the Senior Director for UK&I, you’ll have the opportunity to shape strategy, influence go-to-market direction, and grow into a senior leadership position within our EMEA sales organisation.

The impact you will have:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to help them reach their full potential and deliver against team quotas.
  • Drive new logo acquisition and market penetration across Digital Native and Emerging Enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Architects, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a complete and seamless customer experience.
  • Establish clear team goals, quotas, and coverage models that support scalable growth.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and reporting, contributing to a predictable, high-growth business.
  • Build a strong team culture rooted in collaboration, customer value, and continuous learning.
  • Develop trusted relationships with customers and partners to accelerate adoption and long-term success.
  • Work closely with leadership to shape GTM strategy, establish early investment priorities, and execute growth plans for the region.

What we look for:

  • Proven success as a Senior Account Executive, Team Lead, or similar role in high-growth enterprise software sales (preferably in Data, AI, Cloud, or SaaS).
  • Experience of selling to Digital Native and Startup customers in the UK&I market.
  • A passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others — whether informally or through team leadership.
  • A strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving customer outcomes in fast-paced, high-performing environments.
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling and methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
  • A collaborative, hands-on mindset — someone who enjoys building something new and making a visible impact.
  • An interest in shaping the next phase of your career as a sales leader in a business that values ownership, innovation, and growth.
