We are looking for a Team Lead Internal Logistics for our ambitious, and highly motivated production team in Bleiswijk. HelloFresh operates in the food industry and has the mission to change the way people eat forever by providing to their customers easy to follow recipes and fresh, high quality ingredients. Everything required for delicious meals is carefully planned, sourced, and delivered to the front door of each customer at the most convenient time for them. 

Our fulfillment center is the beating heart of our operations ensuring we send all our HelloFresh boxes complete, on time and with the right quality. HelloFresh Production supports the HelloFresh mission by producing the boxes for each customer containing their choice of recipes and delivers to logistics according to a specific schedule defined by the delivery time slot the customer has chosen. Therefore, we are working in a cold environment (<4°C) and in shifts outside of office hours (nights and weekends). 

Internal transport is one of the teams responsible for the pre-production processes. This covers all processes that happen prior to the production of meal kits and boxes. This includes the unloading of trucks, counting, splitting and preparing the lines with all the right ingredients and materials for production. It starts at the inbounding team, which is responsible for quality and quantity checks for all goods being delivered. Once all checks are done, the splitting team will split the deliveries into smaller batches. Once that's done, the line prep team will make sure these pallets are taken to the production lines.

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact

  • You will report to the Internal Logistics Manager and have 3 to 4 direct reports in the form of line leads. 
  • You will mainly work on the shop floor where you keep an eye on the performance of the team and with your problem-solving skills you can support the team with any issue they might encounter.
  • You are the point of contact for administrative questions such as holiday requests, absenteeism, sickness, etc. for your team, and are in close touch with our temp. agencies.
  • Your attention to detail will help to identify and prevent errors that could negatively impact customer experience. 
  • Safety is our number one priority, and you will make sure you and you make sure that your team members are respecting the safety and hygiene rules and you are one of our biggest promoters for our safety culture. 
  • You will serve as a link between daily operational activities and how this contributes to our ambition and long-term goals

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

  • You don’t shy away from a challenge and you have a problem-solving  attitude, which you can show in developing and rolling out standard operating procedures, or by preventing ad-hoc issues on the shopfloor. 
  • Familiarity with MS Office / Google Apps and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings and holidays as required
  • You’re pro-active, ambitious, and have a think-outside-the-box mentality as well as a can-do mentality. 
  • Fluence in English is required, Dutch is a plus (both verbal and written)
  • You are a team player and have good stakeholder management skills.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and you understand when to escalate
