Position Overview

Treasury and Trade Execution Analyst will be responsible for allocating / settling private corporate loans, including co-investments; managing capital calls; monitoring cash across multiple private debt investment funds; and will support the day-to-day accounting and financial statement preparation of fund partnership vehicles. Treasury and Trade Execution Analyst will be in contact with professionals across the company and will work closely with team members in other StepStone offices.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Allocate loans to relevant Classes in accordance with the Allocation Policy
  • Treasury (Cash management including capital call / distribution management)
  • Coordinate with the investment team to synergize borrower information across various internal teams
  • Collaborate with GP’s to ensure orderly and efficient closings
  • Calculate trade related FX hedges and Swaps
  • Assist with managing credit and leverage facilities, including arranging borrowing and repayments
  • Work closely with number of external loan managers, Administrators and Custodians 
  • Assist in ad-hoc report production for a variety of our portfolios and ensuring quality thereof, internal as well as external coordination regarding the content of the individual reports
  • Monitor data quality and ensure bookings are recorded in a timely manner
  • Support the investment team in the closing of transactions by responding to information requests and providing other support and analysis as needed
  • Assist the team with day-to-day operations of private debt platform
  • Perform other duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

For the position at hand, we seek applicants with 1 – 4 years’ work experience and a bachelor degree from a top-tier college or university. The following factors will definitely be a benefit for the potential candidates:

  • Demonstrates commitment, accuracy and attention to detail, even in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated with a passion for the industry
  • Middle office experience in an asset manager preferred
  • Prior exposure to cash management, credit lines and FX instructions preferred
  • Experience with Private Debt asset class a plus

Salary Range - $85,000 - $100,000

The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position.  Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.  The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
