Betsson Group are looking for a US Trader for our sportsbook team to be based in Bogota, Colombia.Working within the Betsson Sportsbook team, as a US Trader you will be responsible for trading a variety of sports all around the world. You will be part of a team that has a passion for sports and teamwork.

You will be responsible to manage live odds, risk and position of various markets, create and settle events when required, analyze customer betting patterns, assist with improving and developing trading tools, report any issues or errors, interact with other departments in the promotion of the live product, resolving of problems that may occur and providing a better service to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

As an US trader, you will focus on trading and managing matches in Ice Hockey, Baseball, American football. In addition, you will assist other teams in trading a range of other sports including Football and Basketball when necessary. Your main responsibilities will include the following: 

• Managing in-play odds and risk for matches assigned to you in Ice Hockey, Baseball, American Football and other sports 

• Working closely with our 3rd party providers 

• Monitoring Customer betting activity to assist our Customer Risk Analysis team in recognizing betting patterns 

• Creation, mapping and settlement of events where required 

• Effective troubleshooting and error reporting 

• Handling Customer requests in accordance with our Sportsbook rules and guidelines 

• Being Proactive in providing feedback about our product and suggesting new ideas for improvements 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Excellent knowledge of at least 2 of the following sports: Ice Hockey, Baseball, American Football; interest in Basketball, F1, MMA and Box considered an advantage 

• Comprehension of sports odds and the underlying concepts of mathematics, statistics and probability theory 

• Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills 

• Fluency in English 

• Willingness to work during unsociable hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays 

• Ability to think quickly, handle nonstandard situations and work under pressure with minimal supervision 

• Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office & Excel.

• Willingness to relocate to Bogota
