Vet Services Pharmacy Tech Lead
Chewy is looking for a Vet Services Pharmacy Tech Lead who is a high performing team member, with a track record of positivity with passion around building engaging, focused Team Members to join our amazing Veterinary Service team at a licensed pharmacy in Pittston, PA! The right candidate will have the ability to improve culture and morale while providing customer service efficiency through thoughtful process improvement. What You'll Do:
- Develop and mentor Pharmacy Technicians to help build a successful team that delivers an outstanding customer experience, acting as a mentor to 15+ Team Members daily
- Analyze team performance to drive improvement in workflow and production allocations, while also handling time management of Pharmacy Technicians
- Audit Pharmacy processes and deliver mentorship and development to ensure quality and performance standards are maintained
- Identify training gaps and partner with managers and site leadership to provide ongoing development plans for Team Members
- Monitor attendance reports on a daily and weekly basis to ensure Team Members are being held to the same attendance standards, and deliver feedback to leadership
- Monitor system reporting and communicate issues as needed
What You'll Need
- 1+ years in a leadership role preferred (Customer Service, Operations, and/or Healthcare leadership preferred)
- Flexible shift availability—We need candidates who can work weekends and any of the shifts we offer
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Maintain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy where appropriate
- Proven mentor and coaching skills that can impact both front-line Team Members and leadership
- Ability to build rapport with Team Members along with confidence in alleviating critical issues from Team Members
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- The capability to multi-task and prioritize daily work for team
- Excellent attendance record and must maintain at same level throughout the year
- No current corrective actions for behavior/performance
- Reliable transportation is a must
