We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Vice President, Global Partner Programs to align, operate and scale the execution of our global partner program. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Partners and Alliances, this leader will collaborate closely with Sales leadership to drive hypergrowth in our net new partner-sourced software bookings, and ecstatic customers through successful partner delivery of the Appian platform.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Design and implement new processes to align our program with Appian’s GTM strategy, while measuring program effectiveness and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and execute new and emerging routes to market to increase software bookings at scale.
  • Design a next-generation framework and support structure for the entire partner lifecycle (attract, develop, engage, and optimize).develop new and emerging partners within our ecosystem.
  • Prioritize activities, coach and lead a small, but growing, team of resources in the execution of our strategy, and in day-to-day support of our company and partner ecosystem.

About You:

  • You are an energetic and creative Sales Partner professional, with a history of exceeding quotas and driving impactful business for your company
  • You prefer a build vs. maintain environment, and thrive treading new ground
  • You are skilled in operationalizing corporate strategy and re-aligning business priorities to meet objectives
  • You have a working knowledge of intelligent automation with a history of qualifying client solution areas and orchestrating multi departmental solution sales
  • You are honest, collaborative, confident and competitive

Basic qualifications:

  • 10+ years of global enterprise sales experience
  • 10+ years of Global Partner Programs experience 
  • The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic program design, sales leadership, and operational excellence; with experience across multiple routes to market including sell with, to and through
  • Experience working in and/or with large system integrators or consultancies
  • Experience with leading high performing teams of sales professionals 
  • Evidence of data based decision making resulting in quota attainment
  • Preferably based out of the Washington DC area with ability to travel
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business
