About the role
DataCamp is looking for a Video & Audio Editor! As a member of our Media team, you’ll be responsible for scaling our various video and audio Media programs and delivering delightful content experiences for our audiences.
You will collaborate closely with a team of content marketers, data evangelists, product marketing managers, and the broader commercial marketing team to create high-quality content across our various content franchises. Through these efforts, you will help amplify and share the narratives of our learners and organizations engaged in data & AI upskilling and reskilling and, in the process, give voice to data & AI upskilling pioneers across companies, industries, and personas. This role is highly entrepreneurial, and you’ll be expected to contribute across the many different aspects of DataCamp’s content production pipeline.

Responsibilities
- Own the audio and video production for DataFramed podcast episodes.
- Support the DataFramed podcast's production process with tasks such as managing speakers, coordinating with hosts, summarizing key takeaways for landing pages, creating design assets, creating transcripts, and more.
- Own the video production of our YouTube and social content, including editing derivative content from existing long-form content and new original content.
- Assist in video production and editing for product marketing videos, including paid ads, learner video case studies, and more.
- Own uploads to DataCamp’s CMS system while adhering to and improving quality guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in video & audio production.
- Knowledge of audio editing tools such as Descript, Adobe Audition, etc…
- Knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut Desktop, Final Cut Pro, etc…
- Ability to make high-judgment content decisions that maximize traction, quality, and virality.
- Highly structured and detail-oriented, with experience juggling many projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management and self-service design tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Figma, Canvas, Notion etc…
- Affinity with the data science & AI space—and an understanding of the motivations behind learners and organizations using DataCamp to upskill.
We’re even more excited about you if you have the following:
- Experience in the data science & AI space.
- Experience in podcast production, including speaker management, video & audio editing, micro-content creation, design asset creation, and more.
- A basic understanding of YouTube best practices, including SEO, channel management and viewer retention techniques. (Bonus points if you’ve edited for a successful YouTube channel previously)
