Hours: 40 hour per week
Working Shift: 10am-6pm/ 11am-7pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: £14.97 p/hr (inc. 5% shift premium)

As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for completing night operations and daily dispatch, ensuring that freight is safely processed, prepared for delivery, and shipped to our customers. In addition, you will lead and motivate a small team of warehouse associates ensuring seamless freight processing and delivery within our service area.
What You Will Do:
- Motivate and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets and high-quality service delivery are met.
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Sort and prepare goods for delivery, ensuring accurate labelling and completion of required paperwork for shipment.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures by overseeing teams' adherence to safe and efficient practices.
- Update and maintain accurate spreadsheets to track operational data and support team performance.
- Prepare and organize all necessary documentation for drivers, including manifests, delivery instructions, and compliance forms.
- Assist in identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies, contributing to continuous improvement.
What You Will Have:
- Proven experience successfully operating within a logistics, transport, and/or supply chain function as a team leader, supervisor, or similar role.
- An effective team player who can motivate and encourage others to achieve team goals.
- Strong communication skills to deliver clear instructions, ensure team alignment, and support efficient task execution.
- Confidence in decision-making, with the ability to assess situations and make quick, effective choices under pressure.
- Familiarity with KPIs to drive performance and achieve operational goals.
- Good IT navigation skills, including MS Office Suite or Google Suite, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
This is a hands-on position where we're looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
