Working Student - External & Internal Communications (m/f/d)
About the Role
As a Working Student in External and Internal Communications, you will support the Communications team in strengthening EcoG’s visibility, consistency, and storytelling across internal and external channels.You will work hands-on on content creation and communication initiatives while gaining exposure to strategic topics in a fast-growing e-mobility scale-up.This role is execution-focused with room to learn, contribute ideas, and gradually take ownership of defined communication formats and projects.
What you can expect- Support the creation and execution of editorial formats aligned with EcoG’s key topics, primarily for digital channels such as LinkedIn and the company website
- Assist in developing content across formats including social media posts, blog articles, website content, newsletters, and basic case studies
- Create simple visual and multimedia assets (e.g. graphics, short videos) using tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite, in line with existing brand guidelines
- Conduct desk research on industry trends, innovations, and developments in e-mobility to support content planning
- Support interviews with internal stakeholders, partners, or industry experts for articles or other communication formats
- Assist in drafting and preparing press releases in collaboration with the Communications team
- Help monitor relevant market and media trends and map them to EcoG’s communication priorities
- Support the preparation and execution of internal and external company events
- Maintain and update website content using a CMS (e.g. HubSpot or similar), ensuring accuracy and consistency
- You are an enrolled Bachelor (from 4th semester onwards) or Master’s student in communications, marketing, business, political science, or a related field
- You are reliable, structured, and motivated to take responsibility for clearly defined tasks and projects
- You enjoy writing and have a good feeling for language, structure, and tone
- You have a creative mindset and enjoy turning ideas into tangible outputs
- You work in a structured way and can manage multiple tasks in parallel with appropriate guidance
- You communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken; German is a strong plus
- First experience with content management systems, design tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe), or SEO is an advantage, but not a requirement
- You are curious, hands-on, and eager to learn in a real business environment
- You work in a structured and reliable way and follow through on tasks you take on
- You ask good questions, seek feedback, and are open to guidance and coaching
- You enjoy working with data, spotting patterns, and improving things step by step
- You communicate clearly and are comfortable explaining your findings in simple terms
- You are proactive in flagging issues or inconsistencies in data
- You value teamwork and contribute positively to a collaborative atmosphere
