XM Strategy - UK Public Sector
Why We Have This Role
- Our XM Consultants provide exemplary pre-sales functional, business, and industry expertise.
- This team will go deep on strategic accounts including getting involved in helping create opportunities, supporting high value cross-functional initiatives designed to grow the product line business and helping to scale expertise.
- The XM Consultant - UK Public Sector business will act as an expert in the industry and support our sales teams with provide subject matter expertise in 100k+ opportunities sold to specific buyers.
- While most of your efforts will be focused on a pre-sales environment, some of the additional cross-functional initiatives may include input in product direction, content generation, contributing to analyst reports/relationships, attending events, delivering customer workshops, and directing account-based marketing activity.
How You’ll Find Success
- Work as a subject expert within the pre-sales organisation focused on activities that build, expand and close pipeline in the most critical accounts for the public sector business, with the most critical stakeholders and decision makers
- The initial focus will be on maximising the opportunity we have in the UKI public sector with the opportunity to expand into the broader EMEA region over time
- Work as a key strategic partner to the UKI sales team in key opportunities, delivering outputs that help customers build their vision for experience management, and design their roadmaps towards the art of the possible
How You'll Grow
- Innovation: Working with different public sector teams in different regions, you will have the chance initiate and lead many initiatives to drive net new revenue across the industry in EMEA.
- Thought Leadership: Help us bring XM to the EMEA public sector and educate institutions on how we can help drive return on investment
Things You’ll Do
- Engage with existing customers who have the potential to act as flagship advocates within the broader public sector and those customers wanting to significantly expand their license within or across XM categories
- Act as a support / guide to the service delivery teams (internal and ecosystem) in key flagship accounts and a trusted advisor to the C-suite / budget holders
- Advise the UKI public sector sales team on the go-to-market strategy for XM in the public sector:
- Provide guidance to the PMM team on product positioning and messaging, competitive intelligence and key public sector trends influencing how we position and grow in this market
- Provide guidance to the teams responsible for unlocking barriers to growth in this market (e.g. accessibility, security, procurement frameworks) and work with these groups to proactively address these issues
- Provide guidance on thought leadership content to help build our brand in market. Present as a visible, strategic thought leader the most strategic customer events
What We’re Looking For On Your CV
- Graduate degree, preferably in a related field (e.g. Government, Public Policy, Business, Social Sciences, Economics, etc.)
- Experience working in or with government or higher education
- Experience consulting on the design and implementation of Experience Management (XM) Programs - Employee or Customer
- A strong knowledge of survey/assessment design, change management consulting, and quantitative or qualitative data analysis
- A strong understanding of UK public sector and machinery of Government
- Demonstrated ability to persuasively communicate complex concepts at the highest level within organisations and an ability to build relationships with strategic decision makers
- Expectation to be in the office / at UKGC customer location for a number of days each week
