We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Account Director to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with a strong background in technical and strategic digital marketing to lead key client accounts and drive digital excellence.

You will:

Build and own senior client relationships

  • Be responsible for a portfolio of project work. This includes managing projects, client expectations, having an intimate understanding of project finances and resource needs. You will be responsible for constantly evaluating the way in which your portfolio is being run to ensure best practices and processes are being followed to ensure operational excellence and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with other client service and project management team members to ensure key points of portfolio information is being shared as needed for collective success
  • Communicate often, clearly and in a way that allows all team members to be working from a level playing field
  • Participate in strategic annual planning to drive the agency’s agenda forward in support of the client’s business
  • Handle project initiation and creation amidst ambiguous environments in collaboration with cross discipline teams
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and other agency partners in order to establish trust and an ideal collaborative environment
  • Work closely with project management, and other technical or data science experts to evaluate MarTech platforms to identify how to best execute strategic roadmap initiatives
  • Work closely with technical, data science and UI/UX experts in order to create an iterative roadmap of new site features
    • Assist in development of necessary processes that enable the team to build, test and learn in order to iterate on the features necessary to evolve the success of the website
  • Support or own projects related to digital strategy, website development, website optimization, consistent A/B testing programs and SEO.
    • Be able to analyze insights, and data in order to help drive projects and solutions.
  • Ensure Client objectives are met with the projects we are executing.
  • Help ensure the Client understands the project work to allow for them to be core collaborators and advocates for the work within their organization
  • Create opportunities for deeper collaboration and interaction that reinforces the client’s status as an innovative participant in the creation of cutting-edge solutions
  • Understand all disciplines to provide quality assurance of project deliverables, while maintaining best practices and solutions across functions
  • Provide leadership, support, and ongoing guidance to team members
  • Provide internal teams with appropriate insight into client’s strategic business initiatives

You have:

  • 6-10 years of Account Management experience in internet marketing or advertising online media, demonstrating a strong track record of successful client management
  • Experience with digital strategy, digital experience development, site development, site feature development, SEO, MarTech platforms
  • Experience with site development, specifically involvement in large scale site design, build-out, maintenance, and enhancements
  • Demonstrated understanding of CRM, content management, analytics, digital marketing, eCommerce, and internet technologies, indicating your comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape
  • Experience working with complex clients, delivering annual services revenues in excess of $2M each
  • Knowledge of programs, projects, and management processes and toolsets, showcasing your ability to efficiently oversee and execute complex projects
  • Proven abilities in negotiation and leadership, with a track record of successfully navigating challenging client situations and leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations that resonate with clients and internal partners
  • A comprehensive and detailed knowledge of issues within e-business, including a strong working knowledge of third-party solution providers, demonstrating your expertise in the e-commerce ecosystem
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving consensus-building and team collaboration, highlighting your ability to foster strong working relationships both internally and externally
