THE ROLE 

This is your opportunity to become the strategic revenue leader for Pure Storage's most valuable Enterprise accounts in the Bay Area. Your mission is to redefine the customer experience by evangelizing our radically simple, all-flash data platform, driving exceptional business value and maintaining our industry-leading satisfaction. You will operate with high autonomy, crafting and executing a comprehensive territory sales strategy with massive financial and technological impact. Success requires leading and orchestrating cross-functional pursuit teams, collaborating closely with sales specialists and global strategic partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive Predictable Revenue Growth: Own and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent activity that delivers against or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
  • Establish Strategic Partnerships: Deepen relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to position Pure as a long-term, trusted partner, directly sustaining our industry-best customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Orchestrate Complex Engagements: Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from qualification to final contract, mobilizing internal resources (Solutions Engineers, Executives) and external channel partners to deliver the total value proposition.
  • Expand Market Share: Successfully acquire new logo business within the territory by proactively identifying, prospecting, and navigating target Enterprise accounts from the boardroom to the data center.
  • Execute Business Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, translating Pure's technology into measurable business outcomes for key IT and business leaders.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • The authentic ability to engage, demonstrate executive presence, and rapidly uncover deep-seated business challenges to position high-value solutions.
  • A Challenger Mindset and thought leadership; the creativity to apply customer insights and technology expertise to displace incumbent solutions and solve complex data problems.
  • Proven expertise in orchestrating and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and fostering shared ownership with internal teams and external channel partners.
  • Mastery of Territory Management and prospecting skills, with a consistent focus on cultivating a robust, healthy sales pipeline and opening new logo opportunities.

 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is: $152,500—$244,000 USD
