The Role: What to expect

We are seeking a technically savvy Account Manager (m/f/d) with a strong foundation in robotics and industrial automation to drive customer success and strategic growth. This role bridges the gap between commercial objectives and technical execution—ideal for someone with a consultative sales mindset and a passion for advanced technology.As the main liaison between our clients and internal teams, you’ll oversee key post-sales relationships, ensure seamless solution deployment, and actively contribute to account expansion through a deep understanding of customer operations and industry challenges. You will also support technical roadmapping, lead solution alignment discussions, and act as the customer’s advocate within our product and engineering teams.This is a critical, high-visibility position for a relationship builder who thrives in complex sales environments and can confidently speak the language of engineers, operations leaders, and executives alike.

Role Responsibilities: What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value customers in the logistics, manufacturing, and automation sectors, serving as their primary point of contact post-sale.
  • Partner with technical stakeholders to translate business needs into tailored robotics solutions, identifying areas to drive efficiency and ROI.
  • Guide clients through system adoption, deployment phases, and performance optimization by aligning with internal technical experts.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities by staying attuned to evolving customer pain points and strategic objectives.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), executive steering sessions, and technical feedback loops to ensure alignment and long-term success.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Support) to ensure solution performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, demos, and innovation showcases—articulating the technical value proposition to a range of stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning, forecasting, and pipeline management through detailed account knowledge and data-driven insights.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to inform product enhancements and new feature development.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years in technical sales, account management, or customer success in a B2B environment, preferably in robotics, automation, or industrial technology.
  • Proven ability to engage both technical users and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong grasp of robotic systems, warehouse automation, and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable discussing technical architectures, integration requirements, and solution scalability with client engineers and project leads.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to build trust quickly and manage stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with a proactive, consultative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits, site inspections, and events.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
