Account Manager Team Lead

In this role, you will-
Lead and support the Junior Account Management team by fostering collaboration, monitoring performance, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring team growth and engagement in line with company goals.

Monitor and enhance performance: Track team and individual results, run regular 1:1 sessions, and provide coaching and training to support growth.

Manage workload and onboarding: Distribute responsibilities fairly, create structured onboarding plans for new team members, and set clear career progression paths in line with SumUp’s guidelines.

Drive strategic initiatives: Plan and manage the Jr AM annual salary budget, analyze eNPS results, and design action plans to strengthen engagement and satisfaction.

Represent and advocate: Act as the team’s voice in internal meetings, champion process improvements, and foster effective collaboration across teams.

Sales or Account Management experience: A strong background in sales, account management, or a similar role, with proven impact on customer relationships and revenue growth.

Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in English, both spoken and written (German is a plus).

Analytical skills: Experience in setting and tracking OKRs, analyzing performance, and driving measurable results.

Adaptability and leadership: A track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments (such as Sales, Customer Success, or Account Management).

Organizational excellence: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, ensure efficiency, and maintain clarity.
