YOUR MISSION

As an Account Manager in the Commercial team, you will have a key role ensuring partner engagement and retention in Glovo. You will be directly responsible for impacting all your portfolio of partners, to make them grow, continuously propose to them to invest in ads and promo for business growth, and resolve your partners’ complaints.

THE JOURNEY

  • You will be responsible for managing key client accounts, developing strategic business relationships, and driving revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain good relationships between our partners and Glovo through consistent and proactive communication
  • Evaluate, follow up and build reports of your portfolio and KPIs periodically. Take actions to reach your goals and company OKRs.
  • Draw and execute plans, making your partners grow through promos negotiations, marketing activations and menu performance (selling items, AOV, Conversion Rate, cross selling and upselling) . 
  • Understand, build action plans and follow up on churned and inactive partners.
  • Improve operational efficiency of our partners by making sure we always deliver the best service to our customers. 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Work closely with all the departments within Glovo Nigeria team and occasionally globally on temporary projects
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service preferably in FMCG, Food Retail Industry or fast-paced environment (start-ups, FMCG, retail, telecoms, advertising, food-hospitality, etc.)
  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management or any other related field. 
  • Data analysis skills and ability to make data driven decisions. 
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in working with external partners to align on strategic initiatives, foster mutual growth, and ensure seamless collaboration on account-related matters.
  • Problem solving skills, data-driven with strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
