Our Account Management team manages our restaurant relationships. As Deliveroo continues to scale, we become a major revenue channel for restaurants - aside from providing best-in-class support, we use data-driven insights and industry knowledge to help our partner restaurants’ grow.  

The Role...

We are looking for an Account Operations Associate to join our Strategic Account Management team to support with analyzing and reporting qualitative metrics of restaurant partners, various administrative tasks, and implementing solutions to drive key operational initiatives. You will work closely with the account managers for key restaurants to ensure the smooth functioning of the operational process and help drive efficiency within the team to provide top-notch service to our restaurant partners and customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Support various projects that support the account management team. This will include planning, co-ordinating, executing, monitoring progress and providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders
  • You will be the main POC for Partner Operations in the team and will liaise with our offshore Partner Service Center to ensure processes meet the required service level agreements and improve ways of working to support team
  • Responsible for day-to-day admin processes and supporting the team with reporting on key restaurants’ qualitative operational metrics. This would involve analysing & identifying areas of improvement and working with account managers to roll out operational solutions to help restaurant partners better manage service levels
  • Working with the account management team to propose solutions, within the limitations of our systems, to optimise internal processes, improve productivity and alleviate pain points for the account managers and restaurant partners. e.g. using excel/google sheet formulas to automate a process or drive a product improvement using a data-driven analysis approach
  • On an adhoc basis, you’ll be supporting the commercial team with data-driven reporting, insights and analysis

What skills you'll need

  • Background: 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Collaborative, meticulous and process-driven
  • Able to think critically and understand the key data points focused on operational metrics
  • Demonstrate technical competency using Microsoft Office tools and related project/program management applications
  • Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other reporting tools and dashboards is a plus
  • Self-starter to manage your own time and priorities here
  • Experience in a high growth business or start-up is a plus
