Crunchyroll leads the anime distribution industry, delivering engaging content to audiences across streaming platforms, television, and home video. We're looking for a Content Servicing Specialist to join our dynamic team, ensuring content delivery to our fanbase.
About the roleAs a Content Account Services Specialist, you will report to the Director of Global Account Services. We are considering candidates for our locations in Culver City, CA, and Dallas, TX.
In this critical role, you will ensure our fans can enjoy our award-winning content on the eagerly anticipated launch dates.
You will join a seasoned team within the newly formed Account Servicing department, focusing on service excellence and be the main contact for our licensees and vendors, working collaboratively with your teammates to provide exemplary service to our clients and fans.
Your unique background in media content servicing will bring valuable ideas and efficiencies to our workflow during this expansion phase. Success for the Account Services Team will be measured by on-time delivery, rejection rates, turnaround time for resolution, and the ability to positively improve the sales team's cycle through verification and setup of assets.
A day in the life of our Servicing Specialist- Content Assembly and Management:
- Collaborate with other teams (production management, media operations, localization, program management, metadata, and creative) to ensure all video, audio, subtitles, closed captions, metadata, artwork, and avails are ready for program launch according to platform specifications.
- Prequal Avails and Metadata to ensure proper launch on the 3P platform hosting the Crunchyroll App.
- Maintain detailed electronic delivery sheets (EDLs) or fulfillment records for each project, including file versions, destinations, deadlines, and special requirements.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Use your extensive knowledge of Avails, and Avails to troubleshooting and triage.
- Extensive knowledge of metadata requirements for streaming platforms, with the ability to effectively triage metadata issues that are reflected on the 3P partner site upon launch.
- Stay updated on the latest content delivery requirements for 3P platform to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during content preparation or delivery processes.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate with internal and external partners regarding delivery schedules, specifications, and potential issues.
- Keep records for all deliveries and rejections.
- Work with the content delivery team to develop efficient workflows that improve the fulfillment process.
- 8+ years of experience in content fulfillment for streaming platforms, television, or home video distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of Avails, metadata, streaming platform delivery requirements, digital video and audio formats, timed text assets, and secondary audio.
- Thrive in an environment where you can solve problems.
- Experience with content delivery systems and platforms.
- Understand digital video and audio formats, codecs, and file specifications for multiple deliverables.
