YOUR IMPACT

Our Accounting Team plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and providing strategic insights to support the organization's financial success. For our Barcelona Hub, we are now looking for a skilled accountant / IFRS bookkeeper (m/f/d) to join our dynamic international team, contributing their expertise to our global operations and together being responsible for 5 European entities.  Here’s a sneak peek at how you would contribute:  

  • Be the master of numbers! As part of a small but efficient team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of some of our foreign subsidiaries, such as accounts payable and receivable, write-offs, bank accounting, credit card and travel expense settlements, as well as the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS standards. 
  • Share your insights! Perform all monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reporting activities. You’ll analyze and investigate variances, summarizing data, information and trends. 
  • Grow stronger together! Coordinate daily tasks in an accurate and timely manner with the locally based accountants who take care of accounts receivable. 
  • Knowledge is key! Coordinate activities with the local tax advisor regarding payroll entries and local tax requirements. 
  • Unleash your potential! Contribute in different projects of our Accounting Team to make us fit for growth. With the different subsidiaries with partly distinct requirements, you can show all of your proactive initiative in driving our reconciliation activities forward. 
 

THIS IS YOU

To succeed in this role you should: 

  • Have relevant professional experience in Accounting, preferably in managing the accounting activities for foreign subsidiaries of German parent companies. 
  • Be proficient in preparing and processing monthly, quarterly and annual reportings, deadlines and analytical tasks. 
  • Ideally have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) and IFRS basic knowledge. 
  • Show us your hands-on mentality as well as your independent and reliable approach to work. 
  • Have high communication skills and be determined to move things forward: help us grow and shine brighter!  
  • Have excellent written and spoken language skills in English and Italian; another language like French is a plus.
